Kayla and Eric
Kayla and Eric were a great couple to work with for their wedding. There is a sense of energy and excitement around most weddings, but you could almost feel it coming off of them before the start of their ceremony.
Friends and family stopped by before hand to help in the necessary arrangements and give the bride a hug.
The only person a bride has to worry about stealing the show on their wedding day is the flower girl, and in this case it was no exception. She was as cute as a button and loved the camera.
I always love the elegance that comes along with getting ready for a wedding. It's so nice to see everyone getting all dressed up for the big day. All the little details that bring everything together.
Every bride needs a few moments in the thick of things to collect herself and her thoughts.
I love it when cute moments like this one here present themselves.
Weddings during November in Syracuse N.Y. can be a bit on the chilly side, but Kayla was prepared for that.
And here are the men, looking very dashing and happy.
I don't know if I have every seen a groom look so calm, collected, and happy this close to a ceremony in my life, but here he was, smiling away.
I love seeing when a church is full at a wedding to show the support for the couple getting married.
You can clearly see the love this couple has for each other in their expressions on their faces, no neves, just sheer happiness.
Time to say hi to the new family, and all the friends that came out to see them.
And onto the formals.
And after that comes time for the celebrations to begin!
Can't you feel the love tonight.... I think anyone can see how much these two love each other just by looking at their smiles.
And now as they say, Let The Good Times Roll!
This is probably one of my favorite photos from this wedding, knowing that it is November in Syracuse N.Y. and a cold night, the fire and love kept everyone warm.
Nothing like a celebratory cigar to salute the happy couple with.
I think the romance of the night rubbed off on everyone there.
I think this picture sums it up nicely. Congrats Kayla and Eric and thank you for letting me be part of your most special day.

Korey and Emily had everything a good wedding needed, love, and family and friends to share it with.
The guys arrived ready for anything and looking stylish at the same time.
The girls put on their finishing touches.
Sometimes the last few minutes a mother spends with her son can be very touching.
It amazed me at how calm and collected the bride's father was before hand.
I loved some of the details from this wedding. The homemade wine bottles and name holders to the gorgeous and tasty wine themed cake.
The ring bearer and his best friend were both looking very handsome for the days events.
One last walk starts the beginning of something new.
Nothing wrong with a few giggles to get out the nerves.
The weather was perfect for a pretty pond side wedding, and for the formals after.
It's said that the wise man built his house upon the rock. I think this rock made for a cool stage for the couple.
I always love a good dance.
Nothing like the bond between a father and a daughter.
And a mother and her son.
Let the games begin.
Weddings can be such a fun and romantic time for all involved.
Sealing up their love notes to open 10 years later.
I enjoy going to Ricketts Glen just like most people do. That's where part of the problem lies however, when a place is popular, usually it is also crowded. The nice thing about Ricketts is though that it is big enough to hold a lot of people without being crowded, allowing for plenty of photo opportunities.
It seems the big attractions for most people are the waterfalls, and while though I find them pretty, I think there are plenty of other things to take photographs of.
Thankfully it was a beautiful day when we went as a family. The bugs were not bad at all, the temperature is always a bit cooler in the woods, but when you're hiking that's not a bad thing, and the trails were perfect for walking.
Some of the photos here I have played around with a bit, and some I have not. You honestly don't have to do a lot to your photos from Ricketts to get them to look nice, but sometimes doing a little extra to them can go a long way.
I've always had an affinity for old tree stumps, don't know why, but ever since I first started taking photos they have seemed to catch my eye. One thing to remember when you go, take your tripod if you have one, and if you don't, well, it's not a bad investment.
Well, I hope if you can't get to Ricketts this year, that you have enjoyed my photos from there and they can bring a smile to your face. If you are interested in ordering prints from any of the images, feel free to contact me about that. Thanks for looking.
I am now offering custom portrait sessions based on your dreams/fantasies/ideas where you provide the idea, and I help make it come to life. In order to do this, it requires a consultation and planning session ahead of time to make sure it is possible to do. Prices for this can vary greatly depending on what your idea is, and the end result you want, whether it is a regular print, canvas or metal print, or an image on a disk. Please feel free to contact me with your dreams to get started making them come true.

Along with these three, I will also have available a Robins Egg Blue, White, Grey, and a Lilac. There will be examples of them up on the wall at Lutz for you to see what they look like. As for some ideas for outfits, I recommend you let your inner child have a little fun. Accessories can make a regular photo look spectacular, costume jewelry, hats, sunglasses, boots, ties, anything that helps your child have fun and look their best. I will also have a few props available that we will use if it works with the outfit. Here are some images from past years for you to look at.
If you have any questions about anything to do with sessions, products, orders, ideas or anything in general please feel free to contact me. All regular prints are printed on a paper with a luster finish. Images on a disk are all full size images that have been corrected completely and you can share them with family and friends or print them as much as you like. Prints on canvas and metal make wonderful show pieces in your home. Here is a short description of each of them.

Thankfully senior portraits have come a long way in the last 10-15 years. No more is it the normal brown or blue background, smile, click and done. Now senior portraits do what they are supposed to do, reflect the personality of the person they show.
With the changes in technology and styles, seniors are now able to go just about anywhere they want to have their photos done. As it has been said, location, location, location.
Athletes can be in their environment, artists can be photographed in their daydreams, dancers in their studios, or just about anything you can imagine. Thanks to digital technology as well, photos can now be altered afterwords to give a different mood or edge to them, not to mention blemishes can be taken out with ease.
Here's two different versions of the same photograph just to show how different a photographs mood can be depending on what is done to it after it is captured.
Like I mentioned before, blemishes can become a thing of the past thanks to technology. No longer does acne have to ruin your senior photos which allows you to smile with confidence bringing out your true self.
If you have a special look you're going for, I will gladly work with you and your ideas so you get exactly what you want. A couple outfit changes are now the norm with senior portraits as are a couple of locations.
It's always a good idea to scout out a location you want ahead of time to make sure it will work for you, and if you are unsure of a location, I would be glad to help look for one that will match your ideas. Also, don't forget to take into account the time of year you are scheduling for and what the weather may bring.
With a little bit of planning, and a few good ideas, you too can get the senior portraits you want. Please feel free to contact me for future bookings or any questions you might have. www.thatphotoguy007.com/portrait-information
This is Kara and Jason's story. They knotted their families together on October 12, 2014 in a down home wedding.More than 100 people turned out to celebrate their union that Saturday afternoon, where gray skies gave way to blueskies and sunshine as the time approached.
A little calm before the storm, a moment to reflect and enjoy.
Getting ready in comfort and style.
Nothing wrong with wearing a little plaid before your wedding before slipping into your dresses.
Meet, the girls:
Meet, the boys:
A bride and groom could not have asked for a more fun loving and supportive group
of people to be around them on their special day.
What is it about kissing and weddings huh? Just kidding. I love how romantic this image is, exactly
what a wedding day should be.
Yep, that's how we roll.
This is how everyone should feel at a wedding.
Other than the bride herself, I think fathers of the bride have it the toughest on wedding days. The
father daughter dance gets me almost every time.
I loved all the little decorations their incorporated in their country theme. They did a great job
decorating the barn themselves.
Hey, come back, where are you going? Boys.
Did somebody say cake? It was so nice how they incorporated the fall flowers in with the bouquet's,
the cake, and all the table decorations.
Stealing a quite moment in a fun filled evening.
Smile...Wait, that's not quite right.
There, that's better.
Here's to the happy couple and a good night all around. Congrats Kara and Jason.

Corey and Alisa's wedding was one of family, fun, and tradition.
All the traditional elements of something new, something borrowed, and something blue were there. More important to them than that though, was having it in their family church, with their family bible, and Corey's father officiate the ceremony.
And what would be a wedding after all without a little help from your friends.
Seeing couples truly in love never gets old and certainly never goes out of style.
I would certainly give their wedding an A+, but the cake topper stood for their last name, Andrews.
Nothing like a few rain clouds to add a little drama to the day, but thankfully the only real drama it added was to their wedding photos.
I love seeing couples hold hands, to me it shows their closeness in such a simple touch.
Remember guys, learning how to dance is very very important, no matter what age you are.
Just making sure it shines.
Everyone was letting their light shine on the dance floor after dinner.

Mike and I met in 2011, right after I finished graduate school and he completed medical school. His best friend's fiancé (now wife) is best friends with one of my good friends. (Got all that?)
They introduced us, thinking we'd be a good match, and they were right! We started out emailing back and forth, then went bowling and saw "Hangover 2" on our first date - very romantic stuff.
